Break.fast.

Quaker Oats Cookies, Muesli Bar and coffee.

What did you have for breakfast today? I am always on a rush every morning, so I usually eat breakfast (sometimes brunch) at the office. A cup of coffee&milo (yes, combined) is enough to last me until lunch, worst at times, dinner. But I always make it a point to have something to grab when my tummy's crying out for food. I have almonds to keep me company and make me feel full, and water that completes my day.

One advice for those who are on diet, never skip breakfast. A good hearty breakfast is needed for our brains and body to function properly. Eat on time, drink lots of water and laugh a lot. :) We can't afford to miss the many good things we can enjoy about life.

Have a happy Weekend! <3

Hello Weekend!

Yay me, it's weekend again! Everytime weekend comes I'm the happiest girl alive. I just love the thought of having the luxury to sleep extra hours in the morning. It's just so refreshing.

Weekend is also a time for me to clean the room, arrange the closet, do the laundry and cook! Tomorrow, I plan to cook for 'tinuwang isda'. This has become one of our faves - not just healthy, it's also yummy! "Tinuwang isda" is also very easy to cook. You just mix all the ingredients and let it boil - and there you have it. I'm gonna share the photos tomorrow.

Here are the ingredients of "tinuwang isda":

1. Fish (your preference, I prefer the head of a big fish)
2. 2 big Tomatoes
3. Spring Onions
4. long green pepper
5. Salt & Pepper to taste
6. Water

Mix all ingredients in a pot and let it boil.

And ta-dah! You have the "tinuwang isda", my version. :)

For now, I'm off to dreamland! xoxo

Eating on Time

Diet experts recommend eating on time to avoid starving oneself and not result in overeating. And I have been trying my best to adhere to this - yet still I fail. Today, I haven't had any breakfast except for one banana and took lunch at 330pm. This doesn't make any sense, right? This is how busy I get with work, that I oftentimes forget it's time for break.

Eating breakfast is most recommended. Yet because of I (almost) always wake up late in the morning, I skip the most important meal of the day. I think it's time to change my eating habit and lifestyle.

Starting tomorrow, I'll try to eat breakfast - a fast one, a glass of milk/sandwhich/oatmeal or anything that I can eat to keep a healthy body. Skipping meals is not healthy, I know. My mom used to scold me for skipping meals. And mind you, skipping meals can cause you to gain weight not lose. Starving yourself will make you want to eat more on the next meal. That's what exactly happened to me. I need to seriously work on this.

I'll forgive myself for not eating on time today, and I promise to take care of myself by eating on time and regular exercise.

oOps, my time is up. Back to work. :)
